Recent work
Thirty years of notes. Two books, two workbooks.
A sports psychologist had a career's worth of lectures and session material. The book was always “next year.” We changed that.

What we make
Whatever the idea is, we finish it
Most people start with a book. The same material and the same voice can become a course, a site or an app next. Every project has a fixed scope, a fixed price and a date.

A book
The Book Build
Your notes or draft, finished and published in your voice.
Years of lectures, session notes, slides and recordings, or a manuscript that stalled at chapter six. We gather it, learn how you sound, and turn it into a book you'd sign your name to. Edited, designed and published on your own account.

What's includedWhat else would it cost?
The middle option didn't exist. So we built it.
Finishing a book used to mean a year and a five-figure budget, or doing it all yourself at night. We built a third way.
| Option | Typical price | Time | The catch |
|---|---|---|---|
| Premium hybrid publisher | $29,000–135,000 | 6–15 months | Months of interviews; on the guided tier you still write it |
| Freelance ghostwriter | $18,000–50,000 | 6–12 months | Then you hire the editor, designer and publisher yourself |
| DIY with AI tools and freelancers | $3,000–6,000 + your evenings | Until you stop | You're the writer and the project manager |
| Ideaeon | From $3,500 | 8–16 weeks | Built from your own material, in your voice, published under your name |
Ranges from published 2025–26 prices for hybrid publishers, ghostwriters and self-publishing services.

About us
Two people who finish things
Ideaeon is Robert and SteveO, based in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, working with clients everywhere. We started it because we kept meeting people with real expertise and a book, course or app they'd been “about to start” for a decade.
You work directly with us, from the first call to launch day and after. No account managers, no offshore hand-offs, no disappearing act. When we're full, we say so and give you a start date.
SteveO
Client lead & production
SteveO built the production pipeline behind the sports psychologist's books and still runs every book and course we make. He's the person you'll talk to first and most, and the one who won't let a chapter through until it sounds like you.
Robert
Systems, apps & design
Robert designs and builds AI systems for a living, and builds the pipelines, apps, sites and brands here. He's why a book can become a course, a site or an app without changing vendors.
Questions
What people ask us first
Isn't this just ChatGPT?
ChatGPT gives you a generic draft and leaves you to do the rest. We set up a system on your notes, recordings and past writing, then we structure, edit, check, design and publish, and you approve every page.
Will it sound like me?
That's the first gate. Before we build anything, you read a sample and tell us whether it sounds like you. If two rounds of tuning can't get there, we stop and hand over what we've made.
What if I only have voice memos and scattered notes?
That's the most common starting point. Recordings get transcribed, notes get organized, and we interview you to fill the gaps.
Who owns the finished work?
You do, completely. It's published under your name, on your accounts, and the royalties go to you. No equity, no revenue share.
How long does it take?
Two weeks to finish a half-built app. Eight to sixteen weeks for most books. Every Blueprint ends with a fixed date.
Why is it so much less than a ghostwriter?
A ghostwriter's fee mostly pays for months of interviewing and drafting by hand. Our tools do that part from your own material; you pay for the direction, editing, design and publishing.
What if you disappear halfway through?
Fair question. We bill by milestone, hand over working files at every milestone, and set up every account in your name from day one.
Free Idea Call
Tell us the idea. We'll tell you what it takes.
Thirty minutes on video. You'll leave knowing which product fits, what it would cost and how long it would take, even if you never hire us.
Founding client pricing
Our next five clients get 30% off any build, and their care plan locked at $150, $300 or $450 a month for a year. In return we ask for a testimonial, permission to share the story, and one introduction to someone like you.
